TVR's in snow

Does anyone take out their TVR's when it's snowing? I drove my Cerbera 4.5 to work this morning.

Drove to work in a Chimaera this morning - nearly spun just coming out of my drive! Have to be a bit careful - sometimes, all that torque is not welcome.

Drove mine on Wednesday morning… no problems… started first time.. Bit slippy, but nothing too bad. Got shouted at by security for doing donuts in the office car park .. with Leven for it's 12k service at the moment, so enjoying the diesel Polo courtesy car… mmm… fuel economy

It's great fun, however the traction control and ABS seem to be really struggling with conditions!

Driven every day, come rain, shine or black ice!

Left home in the T350 at 7.30am. After several sideways moments was home again 5 minutes later - the roads were like an ice rink! Was more worried about somebody else sliding into me. There was a BMW driver busy chatting on his mobile phone in these conditions too.

Finally got up the nerve to try again at 8.30 and the roads were clear.

I drive the Griff every day sun, rain or snow and we’ve had plenty of the latter this week.

The most scary bits are other road users and getting back in my garage, up a steep slope, when its snowy the only way in is Italian Job style

The Griff is out every day. Mrs FFG drives it most of the time and we swap occassionally. I was unlucky to swap last year when we had 3 inches (of snow) in a couple of hours. Great fun getting out of the works car park which is on a slope and I was parked out of the way - at the bottom of the slope.

I commuted a 250 mile round trip on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Leaving home before 5am each day. No problems other than frozen washers. Oh! And one ver, very dirty little car. Jet washers and sponges are poised as I type.

I did on tuesday. Got about 2 miles and it`s now in waiting for the insurance assessor after the school minibus took the side out.

Diane has been driving the T350 to work every day this week, coz my dearly beloved old Rover 216 sli blew a head gasket last week,and is now in bits at the scrap yard, it was like sending my old family pet dog to the vets to be put down(sniff sniff)
Diane had several "interesting " moments in the snow today in the tiv, at a time of year when it should be safe in the Garage.
But sofar she has returned home unscathed (the car that is!!) oh...and Diane too (must not forget the Wife):hehre:
