How dirty are you?

My Cerb is sitting outside work with a haze of salt and grime all over the front and it looks the mutts.

It's absolutely filthy.

It made me think, are you almost anal in keeping your car clean and not taking it out in the rain/salty roads, or are you a drive it and sod how dirty it gets, I'll clean it if I get a chance at the weekend?

I'll give mine a wash if I get a chance, otherwise it will continue to look like it's just completed the Paris - Dakar.

The Chimaera is filthy… hard to tell what colour it is actually covered in salt and road grime to be honest.

Currently at Leven having the most expensive car wash possible…. A 12k service

To be fair though, even though I use the car daily, I do wash it once a week.

I try to keep it as clean as possible because of its colour. It looks far better clean.

Its currently in the garage with a cover on as it was last cleaned on Sunday.

Its gonna get a coat of crap tomorrow though as I'm off to get the geometry set up.

Came back from a long trip yesterday morning down the motor way, car was covered in salt and grime.

found myself outside in the snow cleaning it!! am i mad? or is this what comes of owning a TVR?!

Rooster is very shiny because he gets a clean every time he goes out. in fact he has not been out since last Sunday because there is too much salt on the roads.

Use mine everyday. The salt doesn't really show on mine - the council must use Iced Titanium coloured salt, aren't they considerate?

My Cerbera is looking a little dirty at the moment. I did intend to clean her last weekend, but i got as far as doing the wheels when my hands became numb due to the extreme cold, so i decided against it!

Driven every day, so gets a clean once or twice a month if she's lucky. And the car.

Keep thinking about washing it but it has been a month now and it just keeps getting better and better.

The Griff’s been driven through snow every day this week and is filthy, but the garage floor is even worse with all the crud dropping off over night.

I too have to put my hand up to washing the car in a snow storm. Drove it back from a service at Offords and it was filthy. I left it in the garage for a while but could not bear the thought of taking it out like that. In my defence it was not snowing when I started! All part of owning a TVR to my mind.

My Tuscan gets used daily and at the moment looks like it has been through a quagmire! It got cleaned a week ago as I needed to take it up to Chris Neils early on the Saturday morning to get a new transducer and I was too embarrased to take it looking like it did! This meant a frantic wash in the dark the night before - not great but a huge improvement on how it looked!
