uprated injectors?

Hi,what are people's view in uprating the original lucas injectors for the later Bosch ones?
I've a standard 450, albeit with NGK BPR6ES plugs, which incidently really do help my car to rev happier, and I will shortly be fully decatting it, but I've also been looking at theory behind the newer injectors, which looks good to add an improvement in engine response, but as with many improvements, the theory is often stronger than the practice.
Has anyone experience of this on a standard ish car?

For my turbo conversion the original injectors were re-used. When I queried this, Powers said they were okay. If I wanted more power at a later date, then they would fit bigger injectors (Vectra ones) and remap the car again.
Based on this, not sure if you would gain anything unless the old ones have a poor spray pattern in which case a clean and test would be a cheaper option.
