Now I keep hearing all this goss that''s there''s going to be a parade of Chameleon Tuscans around Leicester Sq when Swordfish opens in Britain. What I need to know is - is it true and where do I get my ''call up papers'' from? Even if it''s just an urban myth I reckon TVR ought to give it a shot - imagine the publicity! Hey - I''ll even offer to give John Travolta for a spin as he must be getting withdrawl symptons by now!! Jane ;-)

The factory are coordinating a display for the premiere although the last I heard was that they were only going to use a couple of cars. I hope I'm wrong about that as it would be missing a great publicity opportunity to use so few.

Definitely a callout required to aall Tuscan owners in London. Why not put a message onto e-groups for tuscan owners?

It'd be nice to see a few TVRCC arranged gatherings at cinemas. Just for the amusement value. If I was a regional cinema manager I'd be calling the local R.O. to arrange something - good for publicity in thr local paper etc...but then..the regional cinema manager probably knows nothing at all about either the film or TVR so its not likely...

It's recently been discussed on the egroup. As Ted said the word is the factory don't think there will be a big display of cars (I think the distributors still haven't decided whether to have a big premier or not). If it did go ahead I suspect they would probably want the 'swordfish' spec cars only - although, of course I woudl say that Edited by MikeE on Wednesday 6th June 17:11

I'd have thought Ben Samuelson would have been doing his best bit of smooth/fast talking to be able to use a chance like this. Not that I'm at all anxious to miss on the chance to pose around Leicester sq off course!! Somehow a parade round the car park at the local Waner Brothers Village doesn't have the same appeal! Jan ;-)

Perhaps if you were a little less anxious you could hit the right combination of letters on your keyboard!

Wouldn't you all be happier giving it large on a nice sweepy country road instead of chugging along in central London?

I know that John Travolta has kept a Tuscan over in the States so he can drive it to the Premier.
