Don't see many Tivs in Basingstoke, so I was curious if it was local. Spotted on the A30.
You don't? There's *loads*!
There are at least three or four local Chimaeras that drive around 'stoke enough to be noticeable as local cars. IIRC Blue, Blue, Silver and Green - not seen the yellow one.
Oh no, not the 'How Many TVR's in Basingstoke' thread!!!
Look what happened last time, this chap called Don set up a small meet and next thing, we have to keep the sunniest weekend of the year free EVERY year from now onwards to drive our trusty steeds down to the south coast for some serious bbqing, drinking, golf, sunbathing etc, etc!!!
HH.
PS - Whens the next POTB Don and DustyC!???!??

Oh there will definitely be a Fourth Annual Pie on the Beach run. I'm sure .Mark and DustyC will be up for organising it.
I'm also thinking of a Basingstoke centred run this year...it'd be nice to get the local (and not so local) Tivs (and others!) together for a drive, tyre kick and spot of nosh at a pub again...

I'm up for that!
The other place to think of is whizzing down Andover way and stopping at the Weyhill Fair - they have a large car park that then goes into a very flat field and they do top notch beer and food - a good place for a meet me thinks.
There is also the White Lion in Wherwell - nice choclate box Hampshire village, reasonable car park and good beer etc (do you see a theme here?)
Happy to meet up and do an assessment run if you wish!

Sounds good. Pretty village, decent car park, food, beer. Excellent! Just need some dry (or at least not snowy!) weather... How about April 3rd?

April the 3rd is good for me!
OK that's two of us! Johnathon - how about "inviting" the Basingstoke Tivs over your way? We've spoken about this often over the years. We could start off at the usual spot and head over to one of the pubs (Say the Wherwell one?) via some pleasant roads...spot of lunch and then home?
