I've heard this rumour from a couple of (usually reliable) sources this morning.
Is this just a chinese whisper follow-on from last weeks layoffs, or has anyone heard any more today?

Without sources going public, I'd treat this as just what you suggest - a rumour.

I've been talking to a lot of people about TVR this week and I certainly didn't get that impression. The plans I was told about all point to him continuing his commitment for some considerable time.

I suspect it's another rumour developed out of a speculative thread here!

Unless someone can back it up with something useful then it's a pretty crap rumour.

Think I'll start my own. I heard this week that all Sagariseseses come with a pink underside.

I also heard that TVR are working on a triangular steering wheel that doubles up as a warning triangle.

to be fair Ted all these rumour threads are rather useless unless someone posts up a contract of sale. i understand for legal reasons why PH must be seen to sit on the fence to a large extent but all this sort of thing is "a bloke down the pub" or a variation of that.

oh, and I'm cancelling my Sagaris order now. I wanted a rectangular steering wheel.

True, some just seem so off the wall that I'm surprised anyone wastes keystrokes on them.

It's true about the pink underseal though honest.

Ah.. but it is for export into Europe where you need to carry a warning triangle. If it can double as a steeing wheel then you are going to save tons of weight. If you run sidelight and indicator bulbs for dashboard illumination then you dont have the problem of carrying a spare buld set either, hence muchos weight saving.

Ted's right about the pink undertray too btw, It's a russian thing, salt and road grime doesn't stick to the pink coating are going to use.

Eddited to add that the pink stuff has been used on mountain bikes for a while now, and it does work.
