My brother just got some new Team Dynamic "Motorsport" wheels in matt black for his Pug.
Wondered what they would look like up against my dads TVR.

Original

Black

What do you all think, should my dad buy something similar?

I think they'd look cracking... it'd give it quite an evil look

I actually like them myself, considered mugging No1 son with a promise I'll bed the tyres in for him.
Not a great one for the cleaning mularky myself, the though of matt black alloys appeals greatly to me .
If I need to get my exsiting ones refurbed, yes soon looking at them closely , would it be possible to get them finished in matt black . If so what sort of figure would I be looking at .

i quite like them

i have a silver set of spiders for road and the anthracite set for track with R888s on...

coz they look meaner

BTW anthracite is a semi metalic dark grey finish rather than shiney black, more like a non stick frying pan!
mucher cooler than black finish, they look plastic.
IMHO ofcourse

the local places here in the NE are ~ £60 a wheel and can change your wheel colour to a variety of choices...

Has anyone got a pic of black spiders them? I agree that the usual anthracites are more grey than black, but I wonder what a proper black set would look like.

Of course, I happen to have a black car, so...

Think I prefer the Matt black to the shiny grey anthracite , meaner and more motorsport looking IMHO.

Very nice - but does anyone know of the correct pasint for a satin Finish for my Chim 16" five spoke to make it a bit meaner - (as if it needed it!) - will prep them myself. Black is the way to go - have 10 in Black satin for races cars - they do make them look well sinister.
