Does anyone else on here get flashed at (that's flashed headlights!) by non TVR cars?

I normally get it from cars behind me as I go past, I had one lorry give me a serious amount of flashing on the M25 and it wasn't to let me back in because I was travelling a fair bit faster than he was

It's happened so much I was quite paranoid for a while that something was wrong with the car. Now having had friends follow me that doesn't seem to be the case. Do you think these guys are just happy to see a TVR and are being friendly?

Don't see many TVRs on the road round my way, quite a surprise when one comes into view, so I sometimes flash the lights - then realise I am not driving mine!

I've had the same Matt usually after I've overtaken them could never work out if it was because they were peeved I'd overtaken or they were appreciating the fact it was a tvr.
Or [go into paranoid mode] was there something wrong with the car, lights out front/back, something falling or hanging off, chest wig fluttering in wind and medallion flapping over boot lid

Glad it's not just me then!

I once had a bus flash me quite agressively after I'd overtaken it which I put down to the fact he was annoyed at me overtaking. This was despite the fact that we were in a 50 zone and his bus was proudly sporting a notice on the back informing the world that it was restricted to 27 mph

I find the same as bobs4c, not quite the same effect in my Volvo! But as mother used to say "it's the thought that counts"

Only when my boot lid springs open.
Mine does that.

Must be a Griffith thing.

I have spent hours adjusting catches and hinges.

The only way I can get the bloody thing to stay shut leaves the bootlid looking like Ray Charles was specially exhumed for the job.

Grr.

Cheers
