Hi,
Was sitting in Hamilton Hall my halls of residence, reading the papers and looking out on the 18th Green of the old course and heard a rumble outside, to my surprise it was a black Sagaris covered in mud.

It was today Sunday at 1pm. Wasn't anyone on here was it?

As far as I know the only black sagaris is owned by Nikolai Smolenski - tvr's new and very young russian owner. As no customer cars have yet been delivered it's likely to have been him. Cool.

That would have been Geoff & the first production Sagaris. Looking something like this:

Very nice place to live Hamilton Hall! Great for the golf fan! Had I chosen St Andrews instead of Nottingham, I was going to try for that hall!

Hi,
That was it. It looked like a youngish chap driving it with short black hair.

Hamilton is a nice blace to live, I played my first round on the Old Course a couple of weeks ago which was great. Only £110 a year as well for unlimited access to all the courses at St Andrews.

I would love to get that kind of price to play in St Andrews all year. I would play a lot more than I do now that's for sure!

Actually, the best people stayed in Sallies, or had a riotous life by the beach in Gatty. (It was a few years ago, though!)

Very fond memories of the Auld toon - does the Castle Tavern still serve a decent pint of Guiness?

Edited to add, it must have been a few years ago, as I remember what is now the Brownhills Rest home up the hill on the road to Crail, was a real ale house, which served Theakstons Old Peculier and McEwans 90/- from wooden casks propped behind the bar! Glory days. (It was only the late 70s/early 80's actually...)

It is a nice place to study.

The Castle tavern is still going strong, frequented by the Shinty team quite a lot.

Thanks for that, I took the wife to St Andrews yesterday (Wife reliving her uni days ) and spotted the Sagaris down near the beach. Ran over did the and starting ranting how the dealers collected their cars last week and the wife points to the 54 plate , confused and was going to post a query but clarity now.

Anyway what a car in the flesh, the pictures are one thing but to see it up close, those lines, the shape the stance absolutely beautiful. However wife was not too impressed with the car, hmmmm she is treading on thin ice here but she did ask me how much they were so maybe she is going to buy me one !!!!!

Yup, Geoff took the first production car from the factory and did the Central Scotland TVRCC pre-meeting run, then came along to the meeting for us all to poke abd paw the beast.

Looks lots better in black than the red one I'd seen before. Black really suits the car.

Thanks to Geoff and TVR for getting us a car to gawp at. Lets hope he can come up with another one some other time
