Marshy, did you end up getting any offers last night ? I nearly took you up on your offer but the wife climed on the wrong train so I had to go fetch. Phil, Thanks for replying... no I didn't get any offers, but instead I went for a bit of a random drive about the area. Spotted a nice-looking dark metallic red Griff on my travels past Windsor. Egham's semi-regular: every now and then I give a firewall course for the MSc students on their Information Security course, and I attend public lectures there fairly regularly in term time. Next time, perhaps.

At this rate we could form our own club ! I'm at Walton so Egham is only 10 mins away. Sad I know, but I could do with picking up a few basics about firewalls so it really might be good to meet. Sorry Marshy ! Phil

D'oh! There's a public lecture there at the end of June which I'll be down for, so I'll stick the details here as soon as I know them. For anyone who's in the security/encryption field, the lecture should be interesting: something about a new type of public key crypto scheme to challenge RSA.
