Racing Green TVR's Sagaris is waiting...

Dealer runs in new car to be ready for this weekend

Racing Green TVR has provided more details about the Sagaris that it will be showing at this open weekend.

The TVR dealer is currently running in its Jaguar F1 Green Sagaris (tough job, but someone's got to do it) to ensure it is available for test drives in the very near future.

The demonstrator's interior is displaying the new carbon fibre effect trim which suits this incredible car. Though based on the T350, the Sagaris has a noticeably larger cockpit with its wider track and bulge in the roof. With the 4.0 litre Speed Six engine from the Tuscan S giving 400bhp the Sagaris promises to be the performance car of 2005.

The TVR Sagaris is also the first new model to benefit from the recently announced extended manufacturer's warranty. All new TVRs purchased after 1 March 2005 will now be subject to 36 month/36,000 mile warranty which TVR has established to reinforce the quality of its cars, just one of the many changes to have taken place since it was taken over by its new owner.

Racing Green TVR will also have a full range of new TVRs on display including Tuscan 2 and Tuscan 2 S, Tamoras and T350s.

And as you’d expect from Racing Green TVR, it will also be providing the usual bacon rolls and beverages to all who visit, with hopes you will be able to make it over this weekend. If you are too busy this weekend, the TVR Sagaris will be one of the main features in the showroom for the foreseeable future.

Ah that must have been the green saggy arse I saw skelping past me near M4 Junction 11 last Friday morning. Seems TVRs are blindingly quick whilst running-in as well

I wouldn't.
Just think all that power, noise, grin factor in the engine; waiting to be opened up and you're not allowed to do it. Because you'll frack up the engine. no thanks.

As if all dealers run their cars in. It will be thrashed within an inch of its life after 100 miles

I don't think it's going to be fast enough.

Perhaps this is just my "never will get one because I live in the US" side talking, but all this Sagaris porn is getting a little tiresome.

Hmmm, I wonder if they were "running in" their yellow T350 as well. I think that car must hold the record for the shortist time around the Guildford one-way system

The cockpit is identical to the t350 ecept for the bulge, not wider. Sorry for being irratating.

Are you sure? I thought the track was wider on the Sagaris so why not the body too?

100% sure. It's a t350 windscreen and tailgate. But the track is wider. Trust me.

Seen one of these at J10 of the M25 today in BRG looked like it was being escorted by some Elise

I was the broken down ZT260 at the entrance to the J10 slip road, had a flat tyre and with no spare it had to get towed to the garage.
Your car looked great there, very distinctive
