What exactly is it to you and what can you put into words?

I struggle a bit. I think it works on quite a primeval level. Fast cars are montsrous, snarling, intimidating things. It's certainly cool to feel a beast harnessed and obeying your command. Like having a pet dragon I guess. The gforces of cornering and acceleration are stimulating on a quite basic level but why not braking? It can be impressive but it's just not fun like acceleration to me. G forces are often higher in a plane or rollercoaster but they just aren't fun, often nauseous.

There's just something about cornering, tipping a car into a corner with a responsive, feelsome steering rack, feeling the front end bite and the car's weight transfer progressively to the outside. Then there's that tantalising wait, before getting back onto the power, transfering the weight onto the rear boots and smoothly pouring on the power as you carve a glorious arc, all four tyres squealing for submission, two dark lines in your wake of tyre smoke and multi-cylinder wail!

Have I got trackday withdrawal symptoms or what?! I had Paddock hill at brands in my mind all through this, and yes I was fantasising about my driving ability!
