For half-hide, I think the seat is hide and the rest is synthetic.

I thought a 'half hide' was the seats only and a 'full hide' was the seats and the door inserts?

Hi

My understanding is that half hide means the seat and headrest facings (the bits your body touches) are hide and everything else is not.

Full hide on my old Griff meant everything was leather, including dash and centre consol thing. Guess they have to justify the extra £2k for the option somehow!

There was another thread about this somewhere ... my Chim is "half-hide", which meant on my car (standard caveat for anything relating to TVR coz nowt is standardised) that the fron tof the seat and headrests are leather, everything else is vinyl.

It amazes me that people will spend an extra £2000 on an extra and not really know what they are paying for

I'd agree with that - though on my Griff the entire headrest is leather, for some reason! A friend of mine aka Bacardi has the full leather option - his car smells like a shoe shop!
