Locking Wheel Nuts

For Griffith 500 with standard alloys.

Is it dealer only or where else and how much?

As the hubs are standard Ford jobbies, I'm guessing there should be a wide range of locking wheel nuts open to you.

I used McGuards on my MG, which weren't very expensive and worked fine (not that anyone tried to nick my wheels, which I guess at the end of the day is the ultimate test).

If they're Ford hubs & studs, the thread size is M12x1.5.
The McGard part number is 24157 (19mm/M12x1.5 - fits Sierra) - cost around £30 (Feb 04) from Halfwits.

They're very similar (same?) that Ford supply with alloys on their current cars.

N.B. It's possible that the studs may have been changed (by TVR or subsequently).

Suggest you check the depth of the nut and compare with the locking ones before you buy them.
I got caught out with the 'trilock' ones on my S3 that were not as deep so the nut was not making contact with the wheel - came to light when the stud came through the end of the lock nut having new tyres fitted.
