Driving To Spa, Advice Needed.
Discussion
They've closed most of the circuit off, but when i went last, some boy racers had opened it up and you could drive a third of the circuit. The police just sat and watched! The scenary and roads around there are great for driving, and most of the restuarants do fantastic food and drink.
The hire quad bikes at Mont Rigi are quite good for half an hour or so and the 'Ring is not that far away (80 miles ish). The road to the Ring past Aachen takes you past the Summer bobbahn (go down the side of a hill on a teatray!) which is FUN. Or if you are there on a Wednesday there's Zolder open day; and Thursday is Hockenheim (180 miles down the largely unrestricted A61, so just over an hour!) open evening.
Edited to add - The Michael Schmacher Kart Zentrum at Kerpen is good fun too.
