OK - we are hoping to be chosing the details for our new TVR Tuscan in the very near future - we think we have the colour we want but just need to check other options before we commit.

The only criteria is that it has to be purple.

So can you kindly post pictures of your purple TVRs with the name of the colour.

Thanks

Debs

Well, depending on light conditions it can either look blue or purple or even bluey purple Under artificial light conditions it becomes a box of cadbury`s chocolates. This is Rolex blue

Not exactly purple, but deep violet blue pearl.

The colour is BMW Velvet Blue, paint code 379.

Cheers

Hmmmm do like the Starmist Chianti - bit more red than the normal purple. Think what we are going to choose for our new Tuscan will be similar.

I've never seen another Starmist Chianti TVR (not that they don't exist as I'm sure they do!) It is one of the great TVR gems that no one really knows about. It's nearly black at night, and in the sun has bright deep purple with burgundy overtones. Up close you can just make out the very fine silver, gold and red metallic flakes.

Veilchen Blau

You know you want to.

More seriously, why not get a (front half) paint code from Laurence Tomlinson.

Its a Tuscan, and I undestand my shade is Pi$$Poor Purple. It's a variant of Paradise Purple, but specially adapted.

I'd say that the Tuscan at the top of mc's post is Lamboughini matallic purple, it looks very similar to my Chim which is in that colour according to the sales invoice. I would post a pic but have never quite fathomed that bit out.
