Hi

Has anyone had occasion to call on the services of Classiclines Euro breakdown cover?

Going to Belgium in May and wondering if the "free" cover they provide is okay or wether I should take out my own cover?

Ta.

If it is anything like the 'regular' breakdown cover then it should be fine.

Yes used it in 2015. Quite responsive on the phone and got me home. Therafter a tad inconsistent in their view of what the locals in north Italy could, or did do (clutch slave cyl failure), and undo who's instruction, but they shipped Cerby back to TVRSSW and all expenses I incurred were repaid, so no complaints really. Still insured with Classicline but if you make an overseas claim, look out for the annual max pay out limit if you go abroad again in the same year.

Cheers, hoping I won't have to use them but okay to know it will get me home if the worst happens.

I've been with Mannings since I bought my Cerb, mainly for the cover for unlimited number of trackdays. But they've cancelled the Euro trackday cover, so Euro Recovery looks like a great option instead, not least because I spent over a grand on a DIY recovery from Adenau last summer, and I do very few UK trackdays now.

Any exclusions I should be aware of?

Not sure of the finer details without checking the policy, think it's 60 days with a £3k limit.

If you're going to Belgium in May might that be to Spa Classic?

If so be aware you wont be covered for the 'parade laps' unless you pay quite a bit extra.
