If you were to sell your car on after a full body lift restoration, then a light coloured chassis either white or silver etc will show a potential buyer any areas where the powder coat has broken down and not be blasted with waxoyl and after time road muck impregnates the clear waxoyl to hide this.

I didn't want to say pink, because gender-equality these days. That said, purple's not exactly macho is it?Dammit! Done it again!

I'm all in favour of having a chassis painted in a different colour so long as it bears some relationship to the bodywork. For example a 'signal blue' chassis with a Chimaera in Viper Blue would look great.
You don't happen to have any pic's of an example around the workshop do you?
