I was wondering if current TVR owners would say you need to be close to a local dealer if you are going to buy a TVR? Thing is I live in Aberdeen- long way from any TVR garage (2 hours or so)- and was looking to buy a 6 year old Chim/Grif. Is this a crazy idea..?!

There are quite a few V8 TVRs in the Aberdeen area. Why not speak to one of the local TVRCC folks? You just missed the chase to meet up with loads of TVR folks in Aberdeen, as the TVRCC Celtic Gathering was just the other weekend.

This forum, the 'Scotland' forum on PH, and their own web site here www.tvrcc-ne-scotland.co.uk which has contact details. Also, quite a few inhabit the TVR Scotland yahoogroups newsgroup (link from first page of www.TVRCC-Scotland.co.uk). The yahoogroups site is well worth subscribing to if you are in Scotland and have questions about TVRs, ownership, meets etc.
