Deposit repaid

Not sure whether the deposit issue is still out there but my brother just informed me that TVR paid his back last week.

He basically had to issue TVR a court summons and they settled 2 days prior to the hearing.
He also claimed interest and £120 court costs so they ended up paying back circa £1500
He always maintained that he had not signed the smallprint "terms and conditions" so I guess they may have paid on that.

All this after lots of heated conversations with the TVR people stating "you will NEVER get your money back"

As an owner of 3 previous TVR's he was disgusted with the way he was treated...

Suffice to say it left a nasty taste in the mouth and he is never likely to part with his "hard earned" for a TVR.....EVER.

I got stiffed for it, would go back to the dealer but he sold up and isnt a TVR dealer anymore anyway.

I would try it, the dealer that my bro had his deposit with was stripped of their "official dealer" status. They are still selling second hand TVR's but not supplying ones.
