I wanna drive!

Driven the Chim every day since I got it. Driven it 20 miles today, and I want to go out and drive it again!

Its costing me a bloody fortune!

Tell me about it . I've had my Cerb a year and a half now, and it took me 30 miles to go to the local tesco 3 miles away for some milk this morning. Then enjoyed a lovely blast out with The Oggs for another 30 miles or so. All in all, around 70 mile stoday, going nowhere in particular

ditto, 70 miles yesterday but today has been given over to some TLC, God rooster looks so shiny now, ready for a bast tomorrow, and sunday, and Monday!!!! oh and tuesday.

What a day for it today though !!

I popped out for a quick blast (supposed to be diy day), and ended up doing almost 200 miles. I loved every bloody minute of it..

Didn't see one TVR at all though, would have been nice (all i had was novas and rovers etc..)

Balls to it. I want fish and chips tonight. The chippy is just over a mile down the road from my house - but the windy roads to Knutsford are about 10 miles away.......

Its only money.

Are you sure 10 miles is enough for the chips to fully mature?? You might need to plan a longer route just in case?

I know what you mean. I went to Worthing and back today and only saw one other Tiv. A lovely black Griff about a mile before getting home. Made up for it though.

Went out for a blast on my Bike today. 1st outing of the year, (started instantly after 6 months sat in the shed).
Did 78 miles, mostly moors. Got home, chucked the bike in the shed and got the Chim out.
Did exactly the same route, but in reverse.
(The route was in reverse, not the Chim)

My Chimaera is my only car and appart from driving to the station when it's raining, i've come to realise that i don't need a car!

Almost all the journeys i make in the TVR don't go from A to B - i leave my house and after 20-30 miles i come back again!

Gotta love the driving enthusiasts.
Turns out my dad spent his day at work planning the fun, long, backroad enduldged route to my grandparents house, so we wouldnt have to take the shorter more conventional way.

Julie and I were out in the Esprit, TVRs galore in Teesside!
Two blue Cerbs, a red(dish) Chimaera, blue Tuscan... no Wedges though, and mine's still not taxed. Maybe next month....

i drove to bournmouth from farnborough then on to sandbanks acros the chain ferry and past corf castle then went on to swanage past the tank museum then to weymouth and down to portland bill were i learnt to do up my shoelaces in my auntie's mk3 cortina gt in yellow anyway this was on saturday and i didnt get spotted by any ph'ers but it was well worth the tank of petrol he devoured trouble was i wanted to do it all again on sunday and monday

Since it was distinctly damp in the air today, they were probably experiencing a 'bad hair day' and stayed at home instead, having had their chest wigs turn frizzy!

Just a thought.
