Hi,

I've just taken my Tuscan in for its 12000 mile service and am currently driving a Ford Fiesta courtesy car! I know TVR aren't particularly generous with courtesy car but I was wondering what other cars people have been offered. My local dealer has 3 Fiat Puntos and a Ford Fiesta. Oh yes, they also have a Lexus, but that's for Lexus customers!

Back in 1986 when I had my 350i I had put it into Harrogate Horseless Carriages and got a diatsuhi don't know which model it was but it was very small and only had three cylinders. Believe it or not it was actually fun to drive!

BMW dealers always lend me a 3-Series BMW when my 7-Series is being serviced. A TVR dealer tried to lend me a Mini when the Griff was being serviced (I say tried because I demanded something better). An independent TVR dealer lent me a Saab which broke down.

Speed Six Cerbera when my Griff was delayed coming back from Kings.

Mind you, they had previously messed up a few things...

I recently had a Corsa 1.2 in bright blue. I would like to think people stayed away because of the bright colour, but it may have had something to do with my driving

Just a guess But does the dealers name sound like one of mungo's conquests? 'the surname bit?'

Audi TT for 6 weeks when a bus hit me in the Griff. That car got driven like it was stolen! - went through a field, in a river and over a humpback bridge at 80, flew quite well!

Where's Flasher, didn't he have a 4.5 Cerby when his Tamora was in? I had a Fiat Uno Diesel when my Range Rover was in for repairs after a Clio hit me

Best ever courtesy car was whilst my Cerby was being decatted at the factory; they rolled out their mega mileage J-plate Griff 4.3 'big valve' as driven by Jeremy Clarkson 60,000 miles earlier...

Oo-er, missus. I was quite reluctant to give it back!

Raceboy, sorry, too obscure to answer, can only think of Mungo Jerry or Mary Mungo and Midge and I don't know any dealers that rhyme with Berry or Midge... help...

Was offered an MGF. Took a Punto instead. Couldn't stand people thinking I was a hairdresser.

A few years back when Tower View Racing were sorting out my 350, I had Dave's Renault 5 GT Turbo. It was slightly well errr ahhemm, modified . The first time I pressed the loud pedal it was,' Whooaa! Holy $*it!!'
Apparently it was is de-tuned form.

I have since held a dark place in my heart for R 5 Turbo's.
