Does anyone know of any TVRs residing in Mauritius. Highly improbable I know - 50 mph speed limit - in the middle of no-where - if you do let me know

I was out there 3 weeks ago (honeymoon) and did not see a single TVR!!

However the max power trend has reached there in a big way... Lots of them about!!

Just imagine... lowered, blacked out windows, new wheels, exhaust covers, lot of lights, paint job, etc etc... Oh year... all this on a Vauxhall Shuv-It!!! Nice!!

Are you going them?

hutch -

I was out there in June and didn't see anything exotic at all. Mind you, did see a 4 door BMW with a 316 sticker one side of the boot lid and M3 on the other side which made me chuckle.

Hey Lake: don't feel bad about it, I thought we played both sides of the joke really well. Couldn't have set it up better!

Shnozz: one of the funniest car re-branding attempts I saw was in Berlin a few years back. On the back of a fully loaded 600SEC Merc, that had been stripped of all Merc decals, was a perfectly transplanted Trabant badge. [For those not familiar with the Trabant brand remind yourselves at: ftp://ftp.team.net/ktud/pictures/Eastern.cars/Trabant/trabi8.jpg]

I have some family who moved out to live there.........lucky buggers!

I was there in July.....gorgeous even in winter!

There are a lot of modified cars there.......max power-ish.....big wheels...etc!

I saw quite a few nice cars.........a brilliant silver EVO 6 took the award though

Thanks for all the info - will keep an eye out for any TVRs on my belated honeymoon - obviously dependent on how much time other recreationatal activities preclude ie:drinking, eating, drinking, scuba, drinking, gym, drinking - obviously it's only fair the wife picks up the bar tab!
