Hi all,

All too often we hear of tails of woe regarding dealers and service centres, so I thought I would detail some recent woes with my Cerbera and the resulting GOOD events.

I attended the tunnel meet in London last weekend, and was one of the unfortunate individuals to break down. All of a sudden the clutch peddle just goes to the floor

So what to do? I called the AA and sure enough 3 and a half hours later I was on my way…. But where to? At 3pm on a Sunday afternoon I managed to get in contact with Andy’s family (he was away for the day) at home and they had agreed to take in the car keys if I left the car at his garage, ready for Andy to put the car away that evening on his return.

Spoke to Andy on the Monday and was hold that he was very busy but would endeavour to get it sorted when he had some spare time. I did not have a problem with the prospect of a wait for the car, as after all, I had just dumped it on him on a Sunday afternoon without warning.

Wednesday afternoon, received a call from Andy, informing me that;

a) The car was all fixed, back together, and ready for collection.
b) He had got the job paid for under my AA parts and labour cover

So by Thursday evening I was reunited with my Cerb

So I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Andy @ APM for getting the car sorted so quickly, and to his family for putting themselves out on a Sunday afternoon.

Its great service like this that results in me going back to Andy at APM even though he is not exactly local to me.

I think if more service centres could act more like APM, TVR ownership would be a much more pleasurable (and affordable) experience for all concerned.

from me aswell.

Andy at APM is right at the top of the Joospeed *good guys* list, always a pleasure to speak to on the phone, and has earned a very very good reputation. I have no hesitation in recommending Andy.

I drive from Kent to get my Cerb sorted and serviced by Andy, he has turned Cerbera ownership from a headache to a pleasure.
