No, it's still the fault of the person who did it. But to answer your question, I think the colour is defined as part of the chassis number.

TMS sell the paint for £12 a pot I think.

Although a nice chap in Mole gave me a pot for free the other week.

I recently got a 1/10 litre pot made up by a local car paint specalist for about £5, there should be a colour code in the handbook, he matched that then matched the colour card to the car to check for ageing

My Ex did that,

I sent her a naked photo of herself and the bill

I've never laughed so much while receiving a torrent of abuse. Key my car and accuse me of being sick and petty, har har

Laughing while typing this and it was, ermmm, a bloody long time ago

I remember now - some Halfords branches will mix paint (inc aerosols) if you give them the paint code.

I'd be very wary of this though - they royally ****ed up matching my brother's car, a good 2 shades out... The bodyshop said 'Did halfords match that paint? thought so, they do that a lot!'

I ordered my touch-up paint over the phone from Henley Heritage - cost about £6 if I remember rightly. It can take up to six weeks to arrive, apparently, but I got mine in just over a week.
