Enjoyed that, especially seeing you adapting and turning in earlier and faster to the pit complex as you run out of brakes a few times, got it just right and carried shed loads of speed once or twice. hehe

Impressive track craft getting past slower cars which incidentally were all pretty cool machines and you looked to have the beating of the Two in front if your brakes were more consistent,
It just shows you how close to the edge you are when the grip falls away and it starts sliding away, very frustrating I'm sure. Great race driving under difficult circumstances, and that track layouts great too. thumbup

thank you for the kind words, the international circuit is really quite good, I wasn't expecting it to be as much fun. Loved hanger straight . Do they do trackdays on it I wonder. Biggest thing I have to get to the bottom of, is the brake issue with this car, which as you say compromises the race . I'm on the case with that issue and hope to have answer before the big summer classic at Spa in a few weeks time.

Anytime, bit better than the other day in the rain, aren't those moments a bummer. He seemed to stay right then came over on you but he was probably looking for grip himself hehe

You had the power and grip to stay at the front at first but those brakes just don't give confidence just buy looking at it, breaks your flow and whacks the confidence. I'd do eff all but work on them babies and suspension set up, proper fast now that car for those events.
Get it hanging into then corners you'd whoop em. thumbup thing is videos make it all look rather serene when I'm sure you were fighting it a bit, I feel that dread when the brakes are fading and your trying to get into the corners,, very brave stuff.

Put a screaming motorbike engine in with huge power and 6 gears, bet you'd never get your apex speeds wrong. These big V8's Rev so low the pitch doesn't change much and getting the car to the exact speed you want for entry to a corner is a bit of an art, sooo sooo easy to carry 5mph to much and slide off like a prat. Screaming engines are much easier to use it's sound to estimate your speed and so regulate just how much you can carry. Stopping them is an issue for sure. Brakes are vital biggrin
Goodluck at Spa, oh, can you get a camera behind like a rear view mirror, I was desperately worrying and wondering about the pressure from the rear but couldn't look to check hehe
And move the camera so we can see your hands Perry, it's about this car not the one ahead. Great footage indeed. smile

I do have the rear footage as well but it takes a time for my girlfriend to put it up. will post up soon as we get some time, they are just as good to look at if you at the front of a race . in workshop this morning making a new splitter for the Chevrolet after the off on Monday. Over the years I have tried all sorts of different camera angles. got a bit bored of the whole cockpit shot as I had been using that all last year LOL. My you tube channel has over 65 video's if you get bored this winter you might have a look through bouned to find a few interesting ones

I've watched a few smile the rear view would increase the watchers heart rate as he'd be feeling the pressure too hehe when your just going forward it's easy, when you've got fast chaps chasing you and your struggling to control the car it's a whole different game.
Getting on track takes a lifetime to keep it all up so finding time for video editing can be rather less important.

Actually being fair to the other Tvr driver he was on it too, lost his brakes to by the looks or he'd have challenged.

So hard to get the compounds right for all these different tracks. If your cars fast it's the braking that can elevate you right up there. Big gonads help biggrin

You've clearly got a really good car there and don't need me to tell you owt, I just enjoy the science of it all and how it makes all the difference.

I'll be watching the Spa vids with great interest. thumbup
And 5th is a really good result.
Slithering into the gravel trap was seriously deflating but your quick recovery was impressive although lost you so much time. Way up there until then but you were still trying to go forward so who can complain at that laugh
Enjoy the season smile

See I believe in knowing your way round backwards, you never know when you'll need those ordinance skills biggrin leave no stone unturned hehe just watched the first 30 seconds and got dizzy, this will test ones track awareness. I'll have a proper watch later thumbup
