I've damage on the front wing of the Tamora (already posted, looking for local recommended body shops) that needs attention.

As the colour is a Reflex one (Charcoal), am I looking at a full body respray? I seem to remember that matching panels is impossible, and that even doing a front end job can be dubious.

It's going to be an insurance job (although there is no other party, so it will hit my renewal costs frown ) so I'm not trying to cut corners, simply get the best job done.....

Speak to Central TVR, they did a front end re-spray on my Chameleon Blue Tuscan a few months back, perfect match..

You can definitely match reflex charcoal - I had my front end resprayed less than a year ago and you can't tell by looking at it.

That's good to know. It looks like the problem would be with a single panel, on 11 year old paint.

Front end, surface and design. Get them to do paint correction on the unpainted car, both parts will reflect light the same afterwards and you will struggle to see what's been painted smile

You may have trouble matching if the original paint was 'oil based' as modern paints are 'water based'. Best check with whoever you go with..
