I was trying to be semi-nice in first post - but Really it is Bloody Aweful especially the front - worse than the Carisma Cerb! Only the bonnet and boot were unpainter carbon - rest I presume gf. Arc's ok, rest terrible - and on a new car! Who ever buys it will have had a taste buypass op.
It's, apparently been toned down a little since the above pics.
A little background info.
The original brief - from the top echelons of TVR - was to create a car to be shown at the Max Power Show
- some months back.
The design had to be "Radical".
The designer had 4 weeks from the delivery of the car to his workshop - to the deadline.
(Interesting aside - there was also another Car , a T350 - commisioned which made a brief appearance on PH . I dont know , but would assume their brief was "Radical Max Power" as well , although i believe they had been given a few months longer than the Tuscan).
The Body tub and doors were GRP , the Bonnet , Targa top , Boot lid and add ons (spoilers/arches) are all in Carbon Fibre and obviously are FAR lighter the original.
The rear wing was adjustable as was the front splitter and worked aerodynamically.
Apparently on test, the downforce created was enough to feel the car hunker down to the tarmac (this was pre modification - once finished it was deemed "Too Radical"
).
The original brief called for the Carbon Fibre parts to be unpainted - to see the weave - which calls for a high quality manufacture/finish ,which was achieved.
Ive not seen the car for some months and heard it may have been painted Black all over - not sure.

It is as you describe - unpainted bonnet boot and lid - the rest (and alot of it would no doubt weigh a heck of alot off setting any weight saved). Pity no one has a pic of the front a Total farce.
Can't see Wheeler thinking it was Reall TVR...

The guy who designed the bodywork (a very good friend and PH'er no less) , given free reign , would have done a few things differently - the Max Power thing sort of set the scene really.
Given a brief to show it at the Autosport show or Goodwood Festival of Speed - things would have turned out differently.
In the end (despite 14hr days and a couple of nights sleeping in the workshop) my mate didn't finish it in time for the show - 95% done.
It was to have Nitrous fitted and originally had the NoS bottles mounted on the rear of the(specially made) roll cage . ..... that was a touch radical
When it was ever brought outside the workshop - it stopped traffic - literally.
IMO the guys that built it did a tremendous job - most of it finished in 4 weeks FFS - get them on the Typhon .
Who'evers bought it has got a very special car

Just to let you know, this actual car has been at power on numerous occasions and although I'am not the sort of person to blow Dom Tricketts trumpet he has had a lot to do with this one,I seen him many a times pulling his hair out over this one. Do not quote me on this but as far as I can make out Mr Smolenski and Dom as well as a few others made this one up from god knows where, the whole car incorporates carbon fibre throughout the body and I must say it looks generally good, but unsure on a few things. The T350 is a nice looking car but I'am unsure on the front it looks different put it this way (the modified T350 I'am on about) I know that the Tuscan was taken to bruntingthorpe for the day and Mr Smolenski had somone take it around the track and from the feedback I got back he was well impressed. SO DON'T LET YOUR HEAD GET TOO BIG DOM (or spoiler)

given that I know a bit of the particulars on this car; I really think that he did a hell of a job given the deadlines, the working conditions, and other things. In the pic of it next to the typhon, i think the car shines. The intent of the car was to turn heads, and positive or negative feedback it is definitely a head turner. I would like to see more work from him. I KNOW that this car would turn heads in the States! The quality of workmanship is apparent. If anyone speaking negatively about it can produce better results, in the timeframe mentioned in a previous post, rip the car to shreds when yours is posted with a pic on the site.
Ha - it was getting Dark when I saw itat the ACE - but from the pic - for those that like that sort of thing - (Yoofs / Chav's that won Big on the lottery) it is really well done but the lower front spoiler extensiion is a Joke (close-up).
Just the arches the diffuser and a toned own front would be Cool and in keeping with the original and loose the stupid spoiler (it is a road car!) am new S type boot.

If this is the shape of things to come then you're welcome to it.
I can live with the 3/4 pannel gaps in the GRP on my Chimaera, but just look at the side! Just screams 'I'm made of plastic'. I thought the days of rounded corners on 90° bends was gone. Almost as hateful as the rear of the new fastback Marcos.
As for the Max W**k brigade. Why bother? Do many of the pre-pubescent imbiciles that buy that rag have the odd £30K to spend. I'd rather hope that most people who own TVRs have grown out of big wings and bling!
Best thing you could do to that would be to put a lit oily rag under it and retire to a safe distance. All IMHO of course.
