Tamora.. shocks/handlling
Discussion
Im having bitta trouble with my tamora as its became/was and is very rear end twitchy as well as unstable at high speed. A few popel ive talked to think it maybe cured by new shocks all round but not an area i really know much about where to begin, get hold off or whats the best to suit tvr any ideas/comments/advice welcomed
i did change rear tyres recently to Toy proxies which hold road like glue but someone also suggested they have a softer side wall which may not be helping as opposed to avons normally fitted

Does it feel like it's got a life of its own - tries to throw you off the road, tramlining, etc? If so, the first thing I'd do is get a geometry alignment done (£100 or so - but make sure it's somewhere that knows their stuff). If you've clipped a kerb/hit a pothole/anything similar you could easily have got a wheel out of alignment.
Handling generally comes from the front of the car, not the rear, for what it's worth. (Not sure if the Tamoras suffer from the same issue as Tuscans where the very, VERY inside edge of the tyre wears first, leaving the rest of the tyre looking like there's absolutely no need to replace it at all...)

I was happy with the handling on my Tamora until I had my 12K service at Racing Green. They did a full geometry setup and it felt like a different car much more planted faster and more predictable around the bends, much much better all round. I just didn’t know what I had been missing. So go for the full check and see if that fixes it first.
