Get True battery Voltage At Voltmeter
Discussion
I presume this takes a lead from the load side of the ignition switch (or ign relay if it has one)
My S has a motorsport battery isolator so will tale the lead from the load side of that. I realise it will show voltß as long as the isolator is closed.

It could be well worth a test, what bothers me is that you seem to have carried out many modifications that should have solved any volt drop issues on the ignition fused suppliesMy S has a motorsport battery isolator so will tale the lead from the load side of that. I wonder if you have an oversensitive gauge

Yep. I'll also see if I can borrow a thermal camera from work too as I believe it will be down to dirty contacts.
It would be nice if the thermal camera could record what it was seeing, you could post the video of your findings hereThis thermal camera business could turn out to be the future in electrical fault finding
Imagine it, 5 hours taken by one person ripping a car apart to find a volt-drop
You with your thermal camera taking 1 minute to find a volt-drop
Feck, you are onto something big here. We must delete all these posts containing the thermal camera stuff and then get the company up and running, this will go viral and you could have motor vehicle electrical fault finding companies all over the world in no time

Some of us have been doing it for years!

Auto Electricians will be redundant in the future, all that is needed is a thermal camera and a Monkey

Good luck to those that have been doing it for years, this method is not of common knowledge to the public

I spent my early career working with heat sensing systems for military applications! Auto Electricians will be redundant in the future, all that is needed is a thermal camera and a Monkey

all it is is an extra tool to try and find things - at my age I need all the aids I can useAuto Electricians will be redundant in the future, all that is needed is a thermal camera and a Monkey
(it may or may not find the problem)

This is clever, very clever and I like clever stuff
I admire your way of thinking
