A couple of weeks a go I got an insurance quote on Griff limited to 5k of approx £660 and about £100 more for 7k..... I was told they would be put on file...

I phoned upto day and was requoted £1100 for 5k and nearly £1400 for 7k..... needless to say I was bit miffed..

So they went and did some research into where my original quotes were and phoned me back. In which they said that they were as I had been quoted originally :scratchhead: so why give me revised quotes of double?????

Told them to sod off (recomended TVR broker)... and went to classicline in a fume instead .... £460 for 5k... well happy

But how can there be such a variance on the first broker, when trying to insure it at a classic car 10 years old and supposed discount for club memebership .....

i also found classicline the cheapest.

Got 5k miles for 310 pound. I paid £625 last year through norwich union direct.

Thats 10 free tanks of gogo juice
