Can I suggest you look at a Sony CDX F7750 or CDX f7500.
Wired aux input and wired steering wheel control via a joystick are available

Many thanks for the recommendation of the Sony Unit - it is much appreciated, but I already have a Pioneer CD Changer installed in the boot of the car.

The Pioneer Unit has the Retro looks that I like.

Glad you got sorted.
I had a look last Friday and couldn't find my old one.
Anyway, having checked the thread today, I see that mine was different.
