Dropped the car in for a few things this morning at Austec, and got driven back to the station by Paul in a lovely loud yellow Tamora! Absolutely Superb. Makes mine sound like a, er..very quiet and normal car by comparison though! Even from the passenger seat it felt tighter and more grippy on the road than mine. Buggar, suddenly my Chim seems like a poor relation, and I want a new car!

There's the small issue of money. Tam's are well out of my budget for now unfortunately. A boy can dream though....

If its raining he might even take you in the X5, nearly as fast, twice as dry .

Harry

PS assumption being he hasn't found the roof for the tam yet .

Last time I dropped my car there (in fact its still there!) Adrian (I think) set off with me to the station in his C32 AMG (very nice), told him I was getting the train back to Horsham (about 15 miles away). As it was a sunny Saturday morning he offered to drive me all the way there. Top bloke! Top indie! :-)

And a girl...

I'd love to have a Tamora but I couldn't part with Trev

After seeing 5th Gear just now, I want a Sagaris and a T2! Maybe if I win the Chim, I could sell it and mine, and i'd be half way there! Still, no V8 though...it's a tough decision that I'll probably never get to make...

I've been a very grateful recipient of the Austec taxi service more than once. One time on the way there I'd had the Griff sideways at 70mph in the middle lane of the rather damp A23 and was probably still shaking when I got there. So Paul gives me a lift to the station in the Tamora which he kindly informed me was putting out "around 370bhp" on their rolling road. I was a touch nervous that morning and that didn't help!!!
