I know, I know - my first mistake is requesting ethical guidance on PH

Anyway, I was driving the Chim along the A3 on Friday, and got to the bit near Petersfield where there is a roundabout. Anyway, as I was coming up to the roundabout an ambulance came in from the right, and turned north up the A3 (in the direction I was heading) with the blues flashing.

I drive round the roundabout and start hooning up the A3 and realise, to my horror, that he is going somewhat slower than me (I should point out that, having just negotiated the turn he was probably at about 45 mph)and I was soon going to overtake him....

So - to overtake, or not to overtake? What a dilemma !!

What would my fellow PHers do??
