Anyone on here the driver of a dark green Chimaera reg R* *** who overtook me on the Henley-Nettlebed road in Oxfordshire last night about 5.30pm?

The reason I ask is the guy must either have been:
a) madder than Mad Jack McMad or have
b) a broken hood on his car and was in a rush to get home.

Freezing cold, sleeting and raining like hell, rivers of water pouring down the road, real aquaplaning conditions and this guy takes me up a hill, at about 90, top down, no hat, in a T-shirt, the sleet and rain smashing into his face and flooding his interior! Never seen anything like this nutter!

Car sounded though

Maybe he was deeen's spiritual brother?

I've never seen deeen with a roof on, regardless of weather conditions. There's even footage of the man on Pistonheads.tv hooning around Sussex in the driving snow with no roof!

Deeen - did you even get a roof supplied with your car?

Hehe.

I was caught driving home in Maidstone last week with my top down in the middle of a thunderstorm.
I was only a mile from home and felt a cpl of spots...ahh, not a prob says I. 1/2 mile later it had turned into a full on throwing it down session. Bollox!
And I was in a sports vest. And shorts!

As for snow? I was driving around Cleveleys Xmas Day in the snow and hail roof down.

Yus lot are just a bunch of wimps

Roof off, roof on, it doesn't matter: you're still going to get wet.

If you go fast enough does it just go over you? I thought it would, but from what I read here, I guess not! Have been out on a snowy day with the roof down. Good target practice for the local kids

Stay completely dry with the roof off.

I was going to suggest that that could have been Big Al giving Cosmos a spin in his Tuscan but I think I might get sin-binned for that!

Oh well ...

I've found that in heavy downpours unfortunately this doesn't work and fish start getting excited at finding a new home

Tis true. He was following me, so I stopped under a bridge, ran back and said - "I thought I`d give you a chance to put the roof on" His reply - "Are you mad? Where`s the fun in having a roof on?"

Mad as a box of frogs!
