Hi all,

Does anyone have or know where i can purchase a new set of rear lenses for my 2000W 450 Chimeara?

The prevouis owner had sprayed them black Max power style for some bizzare reason. I think the later lights look fantastic so why cover them up?

An idea of cost would also e helpful.

Many thanks

Are you sure it's worth the effort? I believe the covers (not the lens) are devils to fit. They come fractionally too big.

If you mean the lens, they are landrover I think.

Hi Gemini,

Called in at your meet with graham on the way back from collecting it.

Like the original lights so think new lenses would be the cheapest and best option.

I had the lenses replaced on my Cerb a while back after some pillock drove into the car while it was parked. Cost about £40 or so, and Mike at Horizon got them for me, and fitted them.

Are you sure its the covers that have been tinted? I have the actual light pods tinted.

PITA, but can you remove the pods & polish off the tint (I assume its on the inside). Dont think much paint would adhere perfectly to the plastic.

If you are going to changing them, you've not got much to lose trying.
