I may need to get an RV8 pressure senor and connect outside of my custom loom to my LS engine. Have asked the LS bods where the oil presure sensor in on the LS block (if there) - may need to attach a sensor (waiting on this).

Oil pressure sensor is at the rear of the block on an ls, just at the end of the inlet manifold. It's a black cylinder maybe 2-3" tall. You will probably need to screw an adaptor into the block to allow fitment of your sensor as it will no doubt foul the valley base plate.

As Mike says, the LSx series pressure sender is fitted at the rear of the block, and is about 2-3" tall, black in colour.

Its an M16x1.5 thread.

Or, above the oil filter, there is a 2 bolt fitting, with a small spout.
Remove this, drill it out, and tap it to suit whatever type of sender you require.

There are other oil gallery access points, but they would be the 2 easiest.

Oops, are you after the rv8 sender from the rv8 as well?

If so it's at the bottom of the timing cover on the offside of the car iirc. It's low down and usually dirty.
