So, I've been looking at replacing the two 'dailies' as the above will all to quickly come into effect and found this page.

Despite the [extensive] media coverage of this stupid bit of taxation I've not heard anything of the Resident's Exemption period (3-years btw). You have to register. Indeed Mr Khan's reply when asked 'what are people supposed to do who can't afford this charge?' was 'They can buy a new car.' So I do hope that this link is 'current'.
No link or instructions how to register though.

What is the residents area for registration Stuart? The scameras to track this are on a couple of the main roads walking distance from me but I suspect I am not a resident.
Also, I think that this starts on the A21 near Green St Green which is a bit wider than the supposed south circular statement.
Consultations like this one are joke - in a few weeks the period for implementation was Brough forward by over 2 years and facts such as the highest emission area in London are car free zones that came to light were ignored.
At least the Boxster is exempt....

I don't think this is consultation.
As for the boundary, well the link refers to residents within the zone. So outside the zone get squat.
In fairness Euro 4 for petrol engines is quiet an old standard - Euro 6 is the current if I understand correctly.
At least with an excepmtion those in London can travel out of London without charge so maybe a time to relocate a few of the regular meets.
