Its a bit boring I know. But its the HHC track day at Croft this week.

So I don't have to get up at 5am, can anyone recommend a Hotel or other accomodation nearby.

I dont mind if the rooms are duff, as long as my Pride and Joy is OK. Safe parking is top of the list!

I suppose I could always sleep in the car .......hmmmmm.

Cheers
Nick

Hi Nick,

I'm travelling the night before too (down from Edinburgh) and am staying at the Best Western Croft - I think it used to be the Croft Spa Hotel, about 2 miles up the road from the circuit.

Last year I stayed at the Scotch Corner Hotel, still only 8 miles away, but driving through a village in the morning full of narrow single track road between walls full of the school run.

(My fallback was a B&B south of Bishop Auckland which looked reasonably nice & cheap).

If you do get something booked, I'd be up for a quiet pint too (just the one... )

Devanport Hotel 01325 332255

Hartforth Hall 01748 825715

Lovesome Hill Farm 01609 772311

Croft Spa 01325 720319

Hayrose Farm 01609 881554

I’ve got three more but these are the main night stopover’s for Croft. I can't comment on them because I live here so I've never needed to use them

This is the only Guest House in our village, but it's a very, very good one. Church View House
Not that far from Croft (and an enjoyable drive at that).
BTW, what time are they knocking off on Wednesday?
