"TVR IN ACCURATE SPEEDO SHOCKER"

Just used my new road angel for the first time in my Tuscan & have discovered to my horror that the speedo is totally accurate!!!!
What is going on how do i correct this obvious fault & ensure that I get an incorrect reading to make this a true TVR??
(No comments about getting it done at same time as re-build please!)

I got on yesterday and found exactly the same thing... apart from it stops working entirely at about 100mph (and I bet when they fit a replacement sensor it's nolonger accurate).

Mine is accurate too. Better than both our Audis. This can cause problems if you're accustomed to cruising past speed cameras a few mph over the limit on your speedo.

Haven't tested the TVR, but my Audi reads about 10% slow.

Always found the same with my Tuscan.

You can always check your car if you get a tracking device with live pc download and journey history log.

If you need one....

heh, my speedo reads 80mph at 70mph real!

35mph at 30mph real!

I wonder what it will say at 150.....

There's obviously something wrong with your Road Angel - I'd take it back and get one that's not brokeded!

I borrowed a friends TomTom Go satnav the other week to go to Cerbs in the city.
That showed that my Cerbs speedo was spot on too.

But used it in my BMW and my speedo is waaaayyy out!
5 mph at 40 and about 10 mph at 80

T350, digital speedo absolutely spot on, needle reads over by 5mph.

My Tuscan S Mk1 was 10% out but the new Mk2 is spot on. Scary!

The Chim is spot on up to about 70 and then starts to over read slightly.

Ours on the digital side is spot on. Our clio is about 5mph out!

My old clockwork one in the V8S is pretty good tbh, its 2-3mph high at 30mph; 1-2mph high at 70mph and spot on at 1.2 units . Surprised me when I checked it, didn't think to start a topic though .

Mine is 2mph fast at 80, thak you HM Govt £60 speedo checking service! The fuel gauge is dead accurate, too, in real time it goes like this: "oh look it's right on 'E', I wonder how long it goes on 'E'? ... Oh b*****ks!
