Hello all.
Thanks to every one that came along, hopefully its the start of better things to come. I know there were a few dissapointed faces on our arrival in brighton regarding parking none so more than me, but i was told about the parking, maybe we should have stayed where we were, as when i left brighton, where we pulled up had become an extended parking bay. I managed to speak to andy davis ( EAST SUSSEX R.O.) regarding holding a future london to brighton event with proper club backing, he said he would raise the issue at the next R.O. meeting to gage intrest in holding an event.I hoped every one enjoyed the speed trials pity there was only one t.v.r performing, but it did look a bit of a beast.... see you all soon

Thouraghly enjoyed the blat from PP to Btn, shame about the parking though. Jack thought the convoy was outstanding, but the drag boring. So, as any 8 yr old bored son can be quite painful I was away by 12 which was a shame.

Nevermind watching the cars rip down the A23 made it worthwhile.

Very dissapointed that I couldnt make it being the first opportunity to join a run and living very close to CP Parade. I did however have to drop a friend off at Balham train station today, three hours later I returned home having driven past and through Brighton , Newhaven and most other bits on the A27 and M23. If only every trip to the station were such fun!!!

Really enjoyed my day, had to pick the pace up slightly on the way down, hope no one minded to much

I think I’ll be going back next year, as it was good to see all that machinery being used.

Thanks to Ben for the stereo, it seems to work ok.

Hope to see you all again soon!

Great day out, I've got some good photos that I'll post in the next couple of days.
We stayed for a lot longer than anticipated, watched the drag bikes final run (were they quick or what ) I think the fastest time was 9.1 seconds

Ben,

was that your good ladys hat in the middle of the road ? Good to see her standing up in your car doing her Lord Litchfield impression, and nice of you to blast round the roundabout at the same time !!!!!!!

That's certainly not "blasting round the roundabout" by my standards !!
Yes, it was her hat, I did mention that standing up with the hat on wasn't that clever, I should have been more insistant, perhaps then I wouldn't have had to spen an hour following her round clothes shops in the afternoon

Thanks must go to Bluethunder for organising the run down from CP.

Sorry didn't get to speak to many of you but we ended up ay the churchill car park on the other side of the pier, then lost contact.

Sounds like the after trials tour was good, shame we couldn't attend but we had to get back for a wedding reception.

Had a great day and hope to see you all soon.

I was one of those that went for the run to Petersfield option Mark - so only saw our friend in the twin turbo Grif run once - impressive car - all 480bhp of it! Great idea to organise the run down, look forward to next year. Have to see if any of use feeling competitive

Ben - we looked for you as thought you might enjoy a little sport Sounds like you & Gail were joining the entertainers instead - after having picked up a few launch tips no doubt

Might catch up with some of you at Virginia Waters next Sun.

Cheers

Tim
