T.V.R,s FOREIGN FASC INATION
Discussion
If like me you like the attention your car gives to the foreign tourist populace who have never seen one before then you wont believe the amount of attention your car will recieve than with a drive around some of the capitals attractions,I went out this morning for a drive and thought i would take in the sights of buck house, its only down the road from me so i went after changing of the guard, still plenty of people about and a blip of the throttle usually turns peoples heads but none so more than this morning as i blipped a group of jap tourists turned and in true hollywood fashion clicked away, one of them leaned over and in broken engish asked what it wasitold him it was a t.v.r,the make didnt seem to register but the fascination for them was something else then an american ruined it by asking was it a knew baby viper when i told him it was a british sports car he took some pics to show his pals back home. After driving off i felt proud to be british for what thats worth in todays day and age then a thought came to me what about a load of t.v.r,s rumbling around buck house down to parliment square then on to the tower of london, sure to get cameras clicking all the way... emmmm i feel a run coming on???
A Sights of London run would be a great way to spend an autumn sunday morning - plenty of places for parking - could meet up along Waterloo Bridge which is usually fairly deserted until 11am or so. Keeping in convoy would be interesting but we could circle the wagons a few times round some of the better known roundabouts - Piccadilly Circus, Finsbury Circus, Sloane Square, Marble Arch, Berkeley Square - to let stragglers catch up!
Nice photo opportunities to be had amongst the falling leaves / autumn colours. Might need to keep date flexible so we chose a wekend when it's going to be dry rather than pi55ing down!
