Chim Stearing rack probs!!

Hi, I have just been told i need a new stearing rack to get my Chim to pass its mot!!
can anyone tell me where abouts to get one or what the rack is origionally from?
also any one know the price of such an item?

I suggest you get a second opinion - I was told I needed a new rack, and it turned out to be worn upper ball joints and track rod ends. Much cheaper than a new rack!

The rack is a TVR special. May be possible to get a recon.
