What great fun! Saw a Y-reg light blue Tuscan in Reading, around 4:30pm. Drove together (rather, we hooned it) to Bracknell, where we parted company with an enthusiastic wave.
Also saw a nice red Griff at Caversham Bridge, who waved and smiled

Aha....that was me in the Tuscan!

I was on the way back to Kingston from Reading. I saw you a few cars in front going through the lights up to the A329 and wondered if I'd catch you up. Your Chimaera looks superb.

I aim to be at the next Surrey run (my first) so it would be good to meet you there

Hi! I saw you as I came through the lights near the Prudential building, you were at the lights opposite. I was then looking in my rear/side mirror(s) to see if you would follow down the A4. I wondered if you would take the A329, so I pulled over onto the hard shoulder of the slip road to wait...et voila!!! What good fun blatting our way to Bracknell

There is a PistonHeads Meet at Virginia Water this Sunday, 22/09, from 10:30 onwards. I think the plan is to hang around the car park and look at all the cars (as you do)...have some food at the Wheatsheaf Pub beside the car park, then go for a drive. The Meet is posted in the Events section, and in the General Gassing, too.

The Surrey Run #2 should be great fun. Hope you can make it to both V.W. and Surrey, or at least one of them. The Run in August was superb, and we all hope we have as much fun this time 'round See you soon!!

Ghosty, do you drive up through Caversham (Reading) now and then?

Sat a couple of cars behind a light blue Tuscan a couple of weeks back (and have seen it a few times). Unfortunatley due to the usual traffic around Caversham bridge I didn't manage to catch up.

I wondered why you had pulled over...it was a good blast down there. The A329 is always a good reason to visit my friends in Reading, the roads around my place are always too busy to have much fun.
When I saw your car it occured to me that you might be Rivergirrl, I had looked up a few PH profiles over the last couple of weeks and there can't be many girls with a Ruby Mica Red Chimaera in Berkshire!

I will try and make the Sunday meet but it looks unlikely because I've got a birthday commitment(old friend)on Saturday and I'm not sure where or when it'll finish. I will definately go to the Surrey run #2. I've only had the car for about a month so it'll be good to meet up and swap notes. I've had a look at Steve Nesta's video and it looked like a really good day out.

Hi Graham B, I've driven to a friend's house in Caversham a couple of times over the last week or so so it could well have been me. I must have had my blinkers on, I've only seen two TVRs on the road when I've been out in mine, although I have only had it a month.

Just to clear up the colour, it's in the log book as "Ferrari Pearlescent Alloy", not sure why it's called that, I've never seen a Ferrari in that colour.
