Except that they are not Range Rover as the pipes are not in the right place. It is based on it like the sherpa van version butis not an exact fit.

The cheapest and easiest method is to get the rad recored by Serck Marston who have branches everywhere. About half the price of the new one. £100 ish.

Steve, will the Serk ones work just as well as a new one? Do they come with a garantee? Cheers.

Cheers also Thunder.

P.s - Steve, is there anything else I can maintain/check whilst the rad is out? Any tips?
Muchos gracias.

You might want to consider adding an extra core, my local company ( Feltham Radiators 020 8898 0064 ) did this twice in the past for me, can't remember the exact price but around £100, although a few years ago.

I have a serck rad in my s3 and yes, they work just as well as a new one. This is because they keep the top and the bottom and put a new core in it then paint the whole thing black. If you went to a dealer then chances are you'd get a recon one anyway.

Tiv,

I just got my Rad fixed as someone had bodged a tank on at one end from some other rad.

See here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=9&h=&t=15621

The company i used are called Kempston Radiators,on the Woburn Road Ind Estate in Bedford.
Tel 01234 852073.

They are a family run Buisness and from what i understand have built many Rads for all sorts if classics over the yrs.
