On yesterday afternoon.

Sun was out, not much traffic, kids busy, roof off. Oh !!!

Went out for a three hour blat round Basildon, Thurrock, Brentwood, Upminster, M25, etc.

Didn't see a single other TVR !!!!!
Saw LOADS of BMWs, Porkers, MX5s, and did have a good blast with an Evo VIII, but no Tivs!

Where were you all????

Bloody typical though - just pulled into the garage, heard a familiar noise, looked round just in time to see a yellow Chim going past - aaaaarrrggggh!!!!

Early afternoon Ray was working and I was typing a June Regional report...then late afternoon me, Ray, Big M and Mr Big hit the 2p slot machines amongst the bright lights of Premier seaside resort Clacton on Sea in order to win as many toy cars from the drop downs as possible for Mr Big.

I'm pleased to report that in one hour we were successful in the mission.......getting around 5 toy cars, including three rather tasty porkies, three toy soldiers, two motorbikes, and several tokens with which Big M picked a rather snazzy cow picture frame......which she most unselfishly gave to me.....

As a reward for her kindness I intend to take a piccy of her and Mr Big's Griff and (this bit will be sooo hard for me...) pass it back to her.....she will be thrilled!!!!

We then had a Chinese in our favourite ressy.

All good stuff..........

What a perfect day for it! I was out in my Cerb in and around Cheshunt and Stevenage.

Thought I'd try out the new Super unleaded from my local Tescos garage... 99 Octane!

She ran perfectly on it, and it's cheap at 87p/litre.

Hi Neil. I was out and about in the Tasmin yesterday, but I went to Southend, so that's probably why I missed you. Still had fun though, as I gave the seafront a fly-past and woke everybody up

By the way, do you live in Corringham, as I'm sure that I've seen you go past my mates house in Gordon Road a couple of times recently? If so, drop me a mail and we will arrange to meet up some time, as I live in the old part of Corringham.

having "a rest" for 4 weeks due to disagreements with Devon constabulary about "how fast I could go" vs "how fast I should go!"

But will be back to wave at you all soon!!

Me too. Had a fantastic run in with a 360 and an Esprit. The best moment was us all overtaking a Sierra Cosworth in convoy at warp speed along the old A1000 going north from South Mimms. I haven't grinned so much since.. well you know.

I was in Twickenham watching the Harlequins game, then ended up in a pub in Twickenham, before coming home (very tired and a bit worse for wear on the train at about 11.30pm).

Today I was up at Abingdon, Just south of Oxford for an airshow. TVR hasn't moved since last Sunday.

Might get it out tomorrow. I have a feeling my hot start problem may not have been cured though

Knee deep in Waxoyl but it least its done for another year.

Took her out this morning early to burn off any that I had sprayed on the exhaust and only had one embarrasing moment while sitting at the traffic lights with acrid smoke spilling out from the bonnet vents, but all gone now so must be all burnt off.

Twenty or so of us assaulted the Yorkshire Dales.
Some old trout clapped her hands to her ears and glared at us, whilst a small child cried (allegedly, though I didn't see her ).
Top marks to the blue Cerbera P420....? which had an exhaust note to put a Gatling gun to shame. Two cars back I kept ducking for cover, thinking we'd strayed onto Derestrictor's grouse moor
My 390SE gave a good account of itself, turning £44 of 95 RON into air pollution in just 208 miles
The weather was against us: pea-soup fog meant that we had to just imagine the Dales scenery, so to liven thing up I augmented the V8 soundtrack with such gems as Road To Hell, November Rain, Highway To Hell and Destination Anywhere...
There had been a classic car event around Ripon, and a goodly selection of wheeled nostalgia was sprinkled about the place by teatime.

Roll on the BBWF...

I am pretty sure that is andy4200's car. It was pretty damn loud wasn't it? Good run out though (apart from that stupid cow in the motorhome that held us up for ages).

Can't make it out to play today .
Got to fix 'er indoors' runabout - big pool of oil underneath yesterday. Soooooo glad I've got to spend all day (in the rain!) underneath a Mondeo when I could be out doing (ahem!) other things.......

Sounded to me like he was driving everywhere in second gear!
