Smolenski to buy MG Rover?
Discussion
Would this be good for TVR's future then having more large british companies under his belt?
And wonder what kind of changes we would see in Rover (or more probably MG).. Maybe he'll put out some real performance cars and bring back the name of Rover, maybe less luxury more raw power!!
Then again, they are mass produced cars, wouldn't have the spirit of driving like TVR.
Dave.

Porsche is mass produced
and owners of this mark would most likely argue that their cars do infact have 'spirit'

Perhaps they'll bring back a V8 to put in the tivs.
How do you know its not already in the pipeline.
Harry
I spoke to Ian law the other day, who said that TVR themselves had done nothing at all regarding a new V8. No plans, no talks, no thoughts.
Typical TVR really
, heard a different view not so long ago, time will tell though
