TVR - Special Treatment
Discussion
I find owning a TVR, everyone seems to be nicer, more helpful than usual. Owners of shops always greet us, ask how the car is, and generally speaking are just far more friendly than they have ever been. Petrol station attendants come running out to open up the tanks to let us have super unleaded when the tanks are 'empty' and out of use. I asked for water at a shell garage a few days ago, and the cashier took a bottle off the shelf, cracked it open and gave it to me free of charge, wouldnt accept any money.
My girlfriend didnt have to pay for pick and mix sweets when buying petrol a while back either.
Another cashier refused to accept money for cookies she wanted after filling up on another occasion, he just wanted to give them to her free
Its all good stuff
Maybe everyone just loves yellow

No most Brits I've come across are chippy and bitter about people with more expensive cars than them.
I've found people in france and Italy are far happier to see cool cars than most miserable brits!

Not all are like that though, most people I encounter grin as much as i do when they see the chim. We have only had "flash git" yelled at us once in three years!!!

Come down to Devon you certainly get preferential treatment from the police fed up of working on a Bank Holiday Monday in a stuffy Volvo estate
