Yesterday afternoon I decided to get in my Tiv go nowhere in particular - as you do. I found myself driving down a country lane adorned by a carpet of bluebells on both sides.

With the lid off, there was a combination of burbling V8 coupled with the aroma from the my favourite flowers - I found myself in automotive heaven. Am I a big wuss? Probably.

You're not alone. I was out for about 20 minutes in mine last night. There are loads of rapeseed fields around here. It's like a sea of yellow and I love the smell. Top down driving down a lane between two of these. Heaven.

This is either proof positive that the convertible automobile is the true motoring choice of the sensitive soul, the closet conservationist, the type of chap who loves art and likes nothing better than a long walk in the countryside followed by a roof down drive to a country pub for a half of mild and some conversation OR you are all wusses.

Its OK though, the bruteness of the Griffith outweighs the flower bit and makes this acceptable.

Also I am an environmentalist because carbon-based fuels are good for plants - it's what they breathe in and they give us oxygen in exchange.
