Main Dealer or Indi for servicing

What advantages are there in to continue to use main dealer? I am tempted to use Leven (in Basildon) out of convenience as they are local not sure if there is a cost advantage? Other than that it would have to be castle TVR.
Only reason I can think is that if I use an independent now, it would rule out any good will payment if anything happened.
Car is a 2001 Tuscan 4.0, only done 7,500 miles, last service by TVR engineering at which time it had a 12,000 mile service.

IMHO it's very marginal now and I would choose whoever you think will do the best job. Goodwill payment: I would say that it is doubtful at this age. Resale value: speaking as someone who bought a four year old car and had a full factory and dealer service history for another 13 years before selling (last month) I would say that once the car is four or five years old the TVR part of the service history has no financial value at all. (I was however impressed by the quality of service at the factory and HHC.)
